Diabetes: understanding metabolic and syndrome 'x'

I hope you are having a great week , in today's email I want to explain
exactly what insulin resistance is and how you can reverse it.

The Term "insulin resistance" aka Syndrome X  is not usually talked
about when doctors speak to their patients about optimal diabetes
management. This is because the term often confuses patients (and
physicians, too, on occasion). Lets take a couple minutes and find
out exactly what it means.

Insulin resistance is an impairment of the body's ability -
specifically the liver, fat and muscle cells - to use insulin to
process glucose (sugar).
As a result glucose is not handled properly by the body, and blood
sugar levels rise.

In the early stages of insulin resistance , the body recognizes that
blood sugar levels are elevated, so the pancreas tries to step up
the secretion of insulin to overcome this cellular resistance.

This over time places stress on the pancreas until, over time, the
pancreas becomes dysfunctional and unable to produce enough insulin
to help control blood sugar levels.

The vast majority of people with type 2 diabetes are also insulin
resistant, as are many people who have high blood pressure and /or
cardiovascular disease, and who are overweight or obese.

The GOOD NEWS is that there are effective , easy-to-adopt ways to
change the course of insulin resistance at the cellular level.

These include lifestyle modifications, learning new ways to prepare
foods, learning the optimal way to exercise and using natural
supplements. I have developed a 3 Step program that combines all these
necessary elements to help you fight Syndrome 'x' to find out more

Apart from these common recommendations, an interesting
selection of available remedies can support healthy lifestyle
choices, restore insulin sensitivity, and help counteract the
complications of diabetes.

1. Fenugreek - Clinical and experimental studies find fenugreek
seeds effective in treating Type 2 diabetes, providing significant
improvements in insulin sensitivity while reducing LDL cholesterol.

2. Chromium - This trace mineral is key for controlling blood sugar
and works closely with insulin to move glucose into cells.
Without the proper amount of chromium, insulin activity is blocked
and glucose levels begin to rise. A general chromium deficiency in
the U.S. could be a factor in the skyrocketing number of people with
diabetes.

3. Gymnema - Used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine, this herb
(taken internally) controls blood sugar levels, reduces blood glucose,
and increases insulin production. In one study of 22 patients with
Type 2 diabetes, all had improved blood sugar control, and all but
one were able to cut their drug intake after supplementing with
gymnema extract

4. Bitter melon - Numerous scientific studies note the effects of its
dried leaves, seeds, and fruit in lowering blood sugar. Researchers
concluded, There are components in bitter melon that possess
anti-obesity properties, which may be helpful for weight control and
glycemic control.

Now for the best part, I have included these four powerful ingredients
all in one place, Visit me at Melabic.com to find out how these
ingredients reversed my husbands and many others diabetes.
